Custom Toy Union!!!

Hi Guys, if you are a fan of any custom toys, you should definitely check out the Custom Toy Union. It was founded by two of my favorite customizers, BALD and Fuller Designs. It's a great place for customizers to show off their work, as well as a great place for advice and tutorials. I'm a moderator there, and I'm looking forward to helping the site grow!

Sharkticon Gnaw!

This one was for a member of the Mighty Muggs Forum. She asked for an obscure transformer called a Sharkticon. I had no idea what it was, but it was fun and challenging to create the mugg without any sculpting on the body.

Here's a reference pic:

Superman w/ box

superman commission with custom box

Zombie Ed (Shaun of the Dead)

Since Shaun of the Dead is one of my all time favorite movies, I decided that it was time to make a mugg from it! Thus, the Zombie Ed mugg was born :)

The Licker!

Resident Evil has always been one of my favorite gaming series, so when a RE: Zombie contest was announced, I had to join. I wanted to do a challenging character, so I decided on a licker. I used two sets of mugg legs and Aves Apoxie Sculpt. This was definitely a challenging mugg, but I was very happy with the result.

Metallo

Next up was a Metallo for a contest on the Mighty Muggs forum. The theme was DC Villains. Having been a fan of the Superman Animated Series for a long time, I decided to go with Metallo. I thought it'd be fun to attempt the kryptonite chest. I used a dremel to cut out the chest area and sculpted the rest. Both the eye and heart are coated in glow in the dark paint.

Kryptonian Life Suit Superman

I've always been a fan of Superman, so I wanted to add one to my custom collection. I decided to go with the Kryptonian Life Suit variation to be a little different. This was my first attempt at minor sculpting on the mugg- with sculpted "S" logo and armbands.

Steve Zissou- speedo

for my first commission, I was asked to do another Steve Zissou- this time in his speedo garb. This was truly an interesting custom to make- but it turned out pretty funny.

I'd like to do more Life Aquatic characters when I have time....and I'm very tempted to do a Scuba Steve as well :)

Steve Zissou- classic

For my first custom mighty mugg, I decided to do the captain of the Belafonte, Steve Zissou. The Life Aquatic is pretty much my favorite movie ever, and Bill Murray is awesome!
